We’re Thomas and Sheena, food and travel fiends. We travel full time, hunting for the BEST local food in the world to showcase via our YouTube videos. Food is a window into a country’s culture and one of the most exciting ways to get to know a place.

We’re all about eating what and where the locals eat. You won’t find food that’s been created merely to be social media worthy on here- no rainbow bagels, gold leaf soft serves- just genuine, authentic food that tastes incredible.

From street food to mom and pop restaurants, we want to show you the best and most authentic food we find on our travels.

  1. Hi gang! That’s a wrap on Saigon 😆 hope you liked the series. We’re currently in Cambodia filming up a storm. Remember to follow us over on Instagram @chasingaplate for real-time eating 😄 Have a great week guys! Big love, Thomas & Sheena

  2. Watching your video made me want to visit my country so bad. I miss all the great food there but I hate the traffic so much😂😂😂. Love you guys, please do more about Việt Nam, I havent been back for 13 years.❣

  3. i fight myself with eating meats when i start seeing organs. when i see pigs brain, i'm ready to turn off the video… but then i think "if im grossed out by the brain, then why am i eating the rest of the animal?" x(

  4. dnt do a review if u dnt know shit. dip your rice paper in water before u role dumblady..ummmmmmm my ass

  5. I felt North Vietnam food were more authentic than in South. I love sea food in Vietnam and of course Banh Xeo!! 😋😋

  6. I liked how off the beaten path you are. I dont see this at all and it when comes to eating it must be done in a "restaurant" but not here.

  7. The scene where she rubs the lettuce on the rice paper rather than dunking it in the hot water in front of her was very hard.

  8. Thank you for your visit and introduction of our Vietnamese food. I'm Saigonese. Watching you guys from your home country New Zealand. Love the way Sheena placed the orders. Stay safe. Happy Quarantine. Xoxo

  9. That rice paper does not need to be wet before wrap. It won't be broken when you wrap it dry. This type you can only find it in Vietnam because it is fresher than the one which is exported. So it is easier to be perished.

  10. Bro! You look like a skinnier Jason Statham with a little more hair. #Facts

Edit: who the hell gave u guys 54 dislikes? #haters

  11. 👍👍👍👍👍 What a great Vietnam ❤️ Video, amazing + beautiful , really enjoyed it, Thanks for sharing :)♥️🌹 👍👍👍👍👍

  12. Hi, great video, but all the advice for travellers is never to eat raw veg in Vietnam, only cooked, or, say, peelable fruit. But from your video, and many others like it, it looks like there's no problem… What's your angle on this please?

  13. 'Giàu thì mua hết ghế đôi trong rạp chiếu phim. Nghèo thì mang kim vào siêu thị, chọc thủng Ba Con Sói. Lái taxi thì từ chối chở cặp đôi. Làm ngành ẩm thực thì giảm lượng, tăng giá dành cho các couple. Làm khách sạn thì chỉ cho các đôi thuê phòng standard. Tới siêu thị, nhét mẩu giấy viết Mình chia tay đi vào trong mỗi hộp chocolate.

  14. Thank you so much for doing this video, you both did a great job. Made me want to run to Sai Gon and eat all the delicious food.

  15. The pig brain soup makes me want to puke thinking about it. The rice paper wrap with fresh veggies and the beef roll in basil leaf sounded delicious.

  16. The slimey texture of the crab and pork brain soup is beyond my food adventurousness! I'm one of those people who have texture issues. I'm sure it was good just.not for me! Lol!
