Sony’s ‘cheap’ 50mm solution for their E-mount full-frame mirrorless camera system – is it a cut above other inexpensive nifty-fifties?

Very good STRAIGHT FORWARD review! Thanks Chris 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Will it fit on a Sony alpha a7 III mirrorless camera????
I have a Sony A6400 without stabilizer, buying this lens that also has no stabilizer, is it totally inappropriate to use on my camera because all the photos are blurred or is it just a myth because it is always dependent on the selected speed and aperture?
The rumors about sharpness and image quality are all true as well◐◐>imgs.love/_SonyFE?75W as I've been hard-pressed to see even a hint of CA in any photo or a change in sharpness throughout the aperture range. overall it renders a great image and undoubtedly earns its GM badge.
I noticed some focusing issues and trouble locking on to the subject at F6.3 and up. At F11 it would not focus easily at all. When I opened the aperture it performed a lot better. This was late afternoon about an hour before sunset so it was not bright sunlight but still daytime.
I am loving your videos, very helpful
You said " small mirrorless cameras should have small lenses". That's not true. Physics dictates how big a lens should be not gut feelings.
did you get this from China?, I saw the QC seal that usually appears on product sold in China
Hello, please. What lens do you recommend for vlogs and sit down videos that doesn't pass 300 euros.
I think it has to have wide angle, depth of field and bokeh. Please.
Pretty expensive lens compared to the Canon equivalent. How does it compare to the EF 1.8 II? Because I'm thinking of switching but some of the images I've got with the Canon are fantastic.
It looks like a rebadge or remount of the Minolta 50 1.8. Sony just replaced the alpha mount to e mount. Feels like a cash grab to me.. it should have been a complete redesign.
When shooting on manual do u still get auto focus Im a canon guy all my lenses say image stablization just wondering if the Sony when shooting in manual u get image stablization
Goot-eeeeeeeeeeevenin. 😂
What do u hold it up against when saying autofocus is poor? i mean if ur not in a hurry does the quickness of autofocus really matter? 😀 Im new to cameras so just trynna figure out what to buy 😀
What about video ?
Dos anyone know how this compares to the Canon 50mm 1.4?
Seems like a biased review imo
Nice video! Whats the difference between FE 50mm and E 50mm? Which is better for the Sony A7iii Thanks!
that looks like a Minolta MA 50mm F1.7 with re-engineered housing.
I loved your video. There’s almost none information about “Sweet Spots” and seeing that information in your video got you a subscriber for life. Keep going awesome Chanel
