Hackchi 3.8 is out now and I finally got my USB in the mail to do this…..I tried to do it yesterday, but the computer wouldn't read my usb while connected to the snes and computer…Instead, the other video I watched said to just plug the usb into the computer and save everything that way, but the video isn't specific enough in it's steps where I feel safe trying to duplicate it…..Can anyone assist me if you've had this problem as well?

i've got it all done like this, but when i boot up my SNES, it's accessing the drive in the snes, not the usb drive. any help? It's plugged into the wall for power, it's a brand new drive. using this OTG brand new https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XMBVQ2R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good video, and simple. Do you have any idea why sometimes my extra games show up, but other times they don’t? I tried different power bricks like you suggested. But it doesn’t seem to be consistent even with those. Maybe it’s the octopus adapter that I’m using this flaky. I don’t know.

I keep getting C8 error when trying to play the games on the USB drive. How can I manage how many games goes into a folder? From what I googled you need 30 or less games per folder.

Thanks Patton. I want SNES and MD/Genesis Roms load from the internal storage and PSX games from the external USB drive. If I select all importet games in the hakchi2 games list and click on "Export games", all files will be copied to the USB drive. If I export only the PSX games to the USB device, the SNES Mini shows me only these titles, but no SNES/MD games. My third attempt was to deactivate the PSX games (linked to USB) in hakchi2 and click "Synchronize selected games" to copy SNES/MD titles only. But now my SNES Mini just shows me the SNES/MD games. Therefore, I guess that it is not possible tu use both the internal and external storage together? Am I wrong? Thank you!

Hi Patton, thanks a lot for videos. I have some questions though… when exporting games, they also remain in the system's memory? how can you free up that space used by games? And what about save files and save states? are those stored in the system or in the usb? thanks in advance!

Can I use multiple usb flash drives? I know those adapters don't support multiple U Drives because of power, but you'd think multiple flash drives would work.
